How to help

We need financial support for transporting the equipment to the centers.

You can help us by

- becoming a member of the association,

- making a donation.

You can get visibility on our brochures and on the banners we use for the events.

Companies that upgrade their systems, people changing their computers, we will try to contact you and let you know that there is a way to give your material and preserve the environment plus supporting an educational project. In addition, any financial donations we receive shall go towards the expenses related to logistic and technical supplies – we are a non-profit making association.

Volunteering. We need volunteers to help us organize the events, the transport, to test, repair and configure computers, advertise our activity, raise funds. No computer skills are required, as we assure training for all those wanting to get involved into the technical aspects. For the moment we have centers in France - Roquebrune Cap Martin and Romania - Rimnnicu Sarat and Bucharest.

We also need people who know Ubuntu operating system to organize a few training sessions for mediators working with children in the educational centers created in the Rimnicu Sarat (Romania) area.

Donations. Our activity relies on the donation of computers and peripherals. We accept computers, notebooks, computer accessories (mice, keyboards, power cords, etc.), computer peripherals (printers, fax machines, scanners, etc.), CRT & LCD computer monitors, printer cartridges, audio / video equipment. If you have more than 10 kg of material, you can contact us at info@digital-aid.org and we'll organize a pickup in the following areas: France - Menton, Monte-Carlo and the surrounding localities, Romania - Bucharest, Rimnicu Sarat, Buzau and Focsani. For smaller quantities of equipment, please send us an e-mail and we'll give you the address of a collecting center in your area.

We also need financial support to cover logistic and acquisition of material we use for repairing the donated hardware. If you want to make a donation, you can do so by sending us a cheque or a bank transfer - click on the button below and you'll be able to download our membership / donation form and our bank account details.

We managed to activate the PayPal account, so you can also make a donation or pay your membership fee using your credit card or your PayPal account.

For all donations, a receipt will be released and sent to you.
